To facilitate the communication of the rebrand to its customers and consumers, HiKOKI engaged LBPR to develop a social media campaign to ensure the company had a strategic social media presence throughout the brand transition period and into 2019. LBPR’s digital influencer and social media campaign was designed to address this communications challenge by educating target audiences of the rebrand and building a loyal and passionate community of brand advocates on social media.

Results

Over the campaign period LBPR met and exceeded all campaign objectives. HiKOKI’s social media platforms grew by thousands, digital influencer campaigns generated 76 social media posts (target was 20) promoting the new HiKOKI brand and its products, and over 100 user-generated posts using #hikokiaus have been posted to Instagram by HiKOKI followers and product-users. Sales remained strong and HiKOKI reported their global social media presence was almost non-existent prior to this campaign; now, HiKOKI now has over 20-countries globally running multiple platforms, with many of these countries taking inspiration, direction and content from the Australian HiKOKI channels – all of which was generated and created through LBPR’s campaign.
